Center for HIV Prevention and Health Services

May 19th - National Asian and Pacific Islander HIV/AIDS Awareness Day
The Center for HIV Prevention and Health Services contributes to expanding and facilitating the access to and use of quality HIV prevention, testing, medical, and support services by Marylanders, particularly those affected by vulnerabilities created by inequities related to race, ethnicity, poverty, gender, sexual orientation, age, first language, or physical or mental health conditions.

CHPHS is part of the Infectious Disease Prevention and Health Services Bureau; as such is committed to partner with communities to achieve health equity for all Marylanders. Our priority is to advance health equity, and we are committed to tackling disparities within public health systems. It is our responsibility to serve Marylanders without any bias or discrimination and ensure open access to services and resources.
