Maryland Department of Health Hosts Flu Shot Clinic for Employees at State Center

 

BALTIMORE, MD (November 13, 2018) – The Maryland Department of Health is partnering with Walgreens to offer free flu shots for state employees. The flu shot clinic will take place in conference room L2 of the Herbert R. O'Conor State Office Building on Monday, Nov. 19.

 

Getting the influenza vaccine is the best way people can protect themselves, their family, and coworkers from getting the flu. The Department is also reminding Marylanders who have not yet gotten their flu shot that it is not too late. Those who still need a flu shot should contact their primary health care provider, local health department, or neighborhood pharmacy.

 

Maryland Department of Health Secretary Robert R. Neall will be present to get his flu shot.
