Baltimore, MD – Maryland Department of Health (MDH) Secretary Dennis R. Schrader today visited a COVID-19 vaccination clinic for Marylanders ages 5 to 11 in Baltimore City.
More than 100 children 5 to 11 years old were vaccinated against COVID-19 at the clinic, which was hosted by Digital Harbor High School and facilitated in partnership with MDH, the Baltimore City Health Department, and St. Agnes Hospital.
“COVID-19 vaccination clinics for our 5- to 11-year-old population are now taking place across the state,” said Secretary Schrader. “I saw a lot of relieved parents and excited children who today joined millions of Marylanders now protected against this disease. We continue to encourage all parents to make an appointment for their eligible children to get vaccinated against COVID-19 as soon as possible.”
To find a vaccine provider, Marylanders can visit covidvax.maryland.gov or call 1-855-MD-GOVAX.
