Medicaid Newborn Enrollment Portal

​The Medicaid Newborn Enrollment Portal is a new web-based application for authorized hospital and managed care organization staff to enroll a deemed newborn into Medicaid.

A deemed newborn is automatically eligible for Medicaid if on their date of birth their mother was eligible for and received Medicaid covered services.

Notice Regarding eMedicaid Newborn Module
The current eMedicaid newborn module will remain operational while training and onboarding the new portal users. No date has been set for phasing out the use of the eMedicaid newborn module.
