2025 Minority Health Resource Fair
April 8th, 2025
April is National Minority Health Month, a time to celebrate and promote the health and well-being of our diverse communities. In honor of this important occasion, the Maryland Department of Health’s Office of Minority Health and Health Disparities hosted a Minority Health Resource Fair at 201 W. Preston Street, Baltimore, MD 21201.
This event was free and open to the public. Over 30 organizations attended to provide important health and wellness information, referrals, and health screenings. This included free vaccinations and testing for Blood Pressure, A1C, HIV, RSV, Shingles, Hepatitis C, and more.

2024 Health Equity Conference
December 10th, 2024
The Maryland Department of Health, Office of Minority Health and Health Disparities hosted our annual health equity conference December 10th, 8:00am-4:00pm. The conference commemorated 20 years since the creation of the Office of Minority Health and Health Disparities. The conference hosted speakers on multiple topics affecting health equity including environmental justice, LGBTQ+ care, and more.
