Grant Project Description: This two-year grant supported the Howard County Health Department, in partnership with the Anne Arundel County Health Department and DHMH, to pilot an electronic application system that screened and enrolled families into multiple public assistance programs with one application. The online program provided screening and enrollment for individuals and families in programs such as Medicaid, Maryland Children's Health Program, and the Primary Adult Care Program.

Grant Project Description: This two-year grant supported the planning and implementation of a HIPAA-compliant electronic health record system in St. Luke's House's Outpatient Mental Health Clinic. Grant funds were utilized to assist in costs related to hardware and software expenses, staff training and project management and implementation. The transition to electronic health records allowed the organization to build a system mandated that clinical and program staff follow procedures to match Code of Maryland Regulations (COMAR).
