About DDA
People with developmental disabilities have the right to make choices about their lives and the help they get. The Maryland Department of Health's Developmental Disabilities Administration (DDA) works together with children and adults who have intellectual and developmental disabilities to get support and resources so that they can have good lives.
The DDA is the main Maryland state agency that pays for services in communities for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

The DDA helps people get the right services to help them be part of their community. These services can be accessed through Home and Community Based Medicaid Waiver programs or state funds from the DDA.
