Registration Renewal Reminder Notice

For Registrations Expiring March 31, 2025

DEADLINES

2025 REGISTRATION EXPIRATION DATE: MARCH 31, 2025

REGULAR RENEWAL: FEBRUARY 6, 2025 – MARCH 31, 2025

LATE RENEWAL: APRIL 1, 2025 – APRIL 30, 2025 ($200.00 LATE FEE ASSESSED)

RENEWAL FEES

Renewal Fees between February 6, 2025 and March 31, 2025:
Renewal—$250.00; Inactive Status—$50.00

Late Renewal Fees between April 1, 2025 and April 30, 2025:
Renewal—$450.00; Inactive Status—$250.00

Mandatory CEUs, Implicit Bias Training & CPR Certification:

10 CEUs and an unexpired CPR certificate (Provider Level) completed between April 1, 2023 and date of online renewal. All CEUs must be completed to renew a registration.

CEU Exemption Notice: Initial registrations issued on or after April 1, 2024 with an expiration date of March 31, 2025 are exempt from the CEU requirements However, the CA must renew the registration, complete the Implicit Bias training, and must possess a valid CPR certification- Provider Level.

Address and/or Name Change Notification required:

If you moved and/or changed your name since your initial registration was issued, or your last renewal, submit the applicable notification forms to the Board prior to completing the online renewal. Registrations will be mailed to the address of record on file with the Board. A $40.00 duplication fee and a $100.00 failure to notify penalty will be imposed for reissued registration due to an incorrect address of record and/or name. See COMAR 10.43.07.18. Notification of Change of Address. A registered chiropractic assistant shall notify the Board of any change in the name or address of the chiropractic assistant, in writing, within 60 days after the change occurs.

2025-2027 Registration Renewal Notice & Reminder

TAX LIENS AND/OR CHILD SUPPORT HOLDS

Must be resolved with either the MD Comptroller and/or The Division of Child Support Enforcement. The Board must be officially notified by those agencies of the clearance before a registration may be renewed and issued.

The Chiropractic Board is seeking candidates to fill 1 Doctor of Chiropractic position.

Interested chiropractors are to immediately contact the Maryland Chiropractic Association to be vetted and included on the list of nominees. Reinstatement - JP Examination Requirement: Applicants must take and pass the Jurisprudence Examination to qualify for reinstatement. Contact the Board for guidance and total fees. See Law §3–310(a)(4)

Implicit Bias Training: All Chiropractors and Chiropractic Assistants are required to complete the implicit bias training at their first renewal after April 1, 2022. The list of approved courses may be accessed using this link: Approved Implicit Bias Training Courses.

Address Change: If you moved since your last renewal or receipt of your initial license, submit an address change form to the Board prior to renewing your license. Your renewed license will be mailed to the address of record on file. A $50.00 duplication fee plus a $200.00 failure to notify penalty will be imposed for reprinted Licenses due to an incorrect address of record. See COMAR 10.43.01.05 (f) and COMAR 10.43.06.02.(s)
