Carroll County Recreation and Parks – Activities throughout the county; fees may apply. Also has information about parks and recreational facilities open to the public.
Westminster Recreation and Parks – Recreational events and facilities (pool, trail, playgrounds) in Westminster. Fees may apply for some events.
Carroll County Recreation Councils – Physical activity and sports programs in different areas of the county. Click the link for links to each area recreation council.
Carroll County Senior and Community Centers - Classes available for all County residents. Gym facilities available for residents 60 and up, or married to someone 60 or above. Some fees may apply.

Tevis Wellness Center at Carroll Hospital - community-centered health and wellness services offer you access to highly trained team members from a variety of clinical and educational backgrounds, state-of-the-art facilities and educational and support programs.
Diabetes and Diabetes Prevention
Carroll Hospital Diabetes Program - Services include diabetes education, a self-management program, and a support group.
Diabetes Self-Management Program - This six-week program certified by the Maryland Living Well Center of Excellence is recommended for anyone with Type 2 diabetes and is designed to help you improve your A1c and reduce complications associated with diabetes. Offered by the Bureau of Aging and Disabilities with the Carroll County Health Department.
Chronic Disease Self Management - Mutual support in weekly workshops that will help you build confidence, set your own goals and give you new skills to manage your chronic health condition. Also certified by the Maryland Living Well Center of Excellence and offered by the Bureau of Aging and Disabilities.
Diabetes Prevention Program - A free, yearlong lifestyle change program can help you build healthy habits that last a lifetime. Evidence-based and designed by the CDC, offered by the Carroll County Health Department.
Heart Health
Healthy Hearts Blood Pressure Monitoring Program - A four month program created to provide you with the information and resources you need to manage your blood pressure and enhance your heart health. More information coming soon!
