The Carroll County Communicable Disease Program provides free, confidential or anonymous HIV and/or Hepatitis C testing, counseling, and education for those at risk for HIV and/or Hepatitis C infection. We also provide free condoms, health education, and risk/harm reduction. See below for service details.
Walk-in rapid testing is available, but appointments are encouraged. You may also order a free HIV self-test at Together Take Me Home. This at-home test is used as a screening tool and cannot diagnose.
If you receive a positive result from the rapid HIV self-test, you will need to go to your healthcare provider or the Carroll County Health Department for a follow-up confirmatory test.
For other STI testing and services and more information, call 410-876-4930 or visit our Reproductive Health Services page.
