  • Important Notice Regarding Alkaline Hydrolysis and Natural Organic Reduction

As of October 1, 2024, the Green Death Care Options Act, which includes alkaline hydrolysis and natural organic reduction, has been enacted in Maryland. However, these methods are currently not regulated in the state.
