Maryland's SSI/SSDI, Outreach, Access and Recovery (SOAR) Initiative License

Maryland's SSI/SSDI, Outreach, Access and Recovery (SOAR) initiative aims to eliminate barriers for eligible adults who are homeless or at risk of homelessness and have a severe mental illness and/or co-occurring disorder to obtain disability benefits. Access to income allows clients to decrease hospitalizations or incarcerations and connect to other resources such as housing, employment opportunities and other treatment services.
