Substance Abuse Prevention promotes a stable, safe and healthy environment for all residents of Allegany County. Program staff works in collaboration with individuals, families, businesses, faith-based organizations, and local and state agencies to prevent or delay the onset of alcohol, tobacco, and other drug use and abuse. Presentations, programs, and trainings on tobacco, alcohol, and other drugs are available upon request. Information is tailored to meet the needs of the audience. Educational resources such as brochures, pamphlets, fliers, and posters on a variety of substance-related topics are available.
