Catoctin Summit Adolescent Program (CSAP)

The Catoctin Summit Adolescent Program of the Washington County Health Department is a publicly funded residential program whose primary purpose is to serve the treatment needs of alcohol and other drug dependent adolescents on a statewide basis. The Maryland Office of Health Care Quality certifies Catoctin Summit Adolescent Program to provide American Society of Addiction Medicine Level III.5, Long-Term Therapeutic Community services to the patients who voluntarily enter treatment.  The program offers to the adolescent and family an opportunity to engage in a treatment program tailored to meet their specific needs. Length of stay is a maximum of eight months, based on achievement of treatment goals.

Target Population:   Male and female adolescents with moderate to
                severe diagnoses of substance use, and mild to moderate 
                severity of mental health disorders
