The Dayhoff Building, briefly known originally as the "Active Treatment Building," was opened in 1961. It was named after Everett Dayhoff, a man who for many years directed patient activities at Spring Grove. Today the Dayhoff Building is the hub of the hospital's Admission Division. It includes four acute inpatient units, as well as the hospital's Admission's Office.
