REHABILITATION SERVICES DEPARTMENT
PHILOSOPHY:
The Rehabilitation
Service Department (RSD), a multi-modal clinical services program.
Services are based on the belief that each individual has the right to
live a productive, meaningful existence in the least restrictive
environment. This includes the elimination of barriers and development
of competencies for the purpose of assisting individuals toward their
optimum levels of personal, emotional, social, community, vocational and
leisure development. It is our belief that greater emphasis on
“wellness”, “recovery” and “responsibility of self” for his/her own
actions will better prepare the individual for discharge and successful
community re-entry.
