Maryland Department of Health will be offering virtual and in-person Youth Camp Regulations Training this year.  These trainings will cover the background check process, the health program, medication at camp, how to write safety plans, navigating the youth camp portal, and much more. Both the virtual and in-person training will be held from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm.

Our office encourages new and existing camps to send a representative each camp season to ensure that camps understand the regulations and have the opportunity to ask questions.  While in-person trainings will be limited by the size of the venue, the virtual trainings will offer a larger capacity.

    In-Person Training Dates (8:30am to 4:30)

2023 in-person trainings have concluded. Check back next year for 2024 training dates.

Virtual Training Dates (8:30am to 4:30pm)
The virtual training will be hosted on Google Meet. (Changed from a Webex meeting due to technical issues.)
