Who is Eligible?

To be eligible for EID, you must meet all of the following:
Be at least 18 years old but not yet 65 years old
Be a U. S. citizen or “
qualified alien
”
Have a disability that meets
Social Security’s medical criteria
Be
working for pay
Meet the
resource (asset) limi
t
of $10,000 if you are unmarried and $15,000 if you are married. Resources include cash, bank accounts,
stocks, bonds, investments, some
retirement accounts
, some property, etc. Resources don’t include the home you live in, vehicles you own, or certain other retirement accounts.
