DDA Family Supports Waiver Public Forums

June 19th, 20th, 21st, or 22nd

The Developmental Disabilities Administration (DDA) would like to invite you to join us at one of our regional forums to discuss services to be considered for a new Family Support Waiver.   The DDA Family Supports Waiver program will provide individual and family supports for children birth to 21 with developmental disabilities on the DDA Waiting List.
We have conducted some national research on services and supports that may be helpful including: respite, supportive home care, family empowerment supports, community navigation and supports, family caregiver training, assistive technology, emergency response, environmental modifications, family-to-family supports, self-advocacy supports, individual education and training, and peer-to-peer supports.
During the forum we are interested in hearing your input on the draft services and supports that would be helpful for you, your family, and your family member with a developmental disability in the home, community, and after school, nights, and weekends.   The draft waiver service descriptions will be shared prior to the meeting date for your review and discussion during the forum.
